HI!

Hi there, I'm Melissa, a portrait artist based out of Peoria, Illinois. I am proud to serve Peoria and the surrounding communities. I was born in Central Illinois, grew up in Central Illinois and now I'm raising my own family in Central Illinois.

As a mom of two children under the age of 10, life can be crazy (Am I right?)... including a very busy schedule, homeschool lessons, sports schedules, cleaning up, and constant on the go... This is easily my every day!

Despite the ever changing schedule, I am surrounded by love and constant reminders of the momentous days in my life. Days full of love, joy, laughter, and the love of our closest friends and family.

Family... in the end, that is what it is all about and truly what matters most. Our home is full of pictures from our engagement, wedding day, and multiple life celebrations with our kids. They serve as proof that family and motherhood are worth every single minute (even in the chaos).

Those photos on the walls are more than just photos. I like to think of them as little windows showcasing a glimpse into those wonderful memories at every stage in our lives.

To be honest, it's not uncommon for me to get that same warm and fuzzy feeling I had on my wedding day while walking down the aisle or the day I became a mom for the first time and a repeat mom when baby two arrived.

Every single time I pass by my little windows captured in time I remember... no, I feel those same warm and fuzzy feelings.

I am also a proud member of the PPA  (Professional Photographers of America).
